Be wary of the monkey ball, as it will waste precious seconds on the monkey, allowing the thieves to become overwhelming in number. Try to keep the monkeys off of the Banana Bunches, but remember it is far easier to sacrifice a Banana Bunch if the enemy has overwhelmed the monkey than it is to try and save it and lose a couple Banana Bunches. Jab upwards to send the stick hurtling up at thieving monkeys, while leaning the Remote forward will allow the monkey to dodge incoming monkey balls by stepping forward. Hold the Remote at a 90 degree angle with the sensor bar, moving it left and right to go those directions. Watch out for the rolling monkey ball that can trap the monkey on guard duty! Keep the Banana thieves away from the Banana Bunches, hitting them with the stick to send them flying. Always be on the lookout for Bananas that have fallen and no one has grabbed, they are easy enough to get to and they are far easier to line up than a shadow that may be a Bomb instead of the yellow fruit sought by the monkeys. Of course, if those players had enough skill to do this, they surely could collect enough Bananas to get into the lead anyway! Another good technique for the well coordinated players is to trap the player who is winning near a bomb, making them lose their Banana totals. If a Bomb is about to hit the monkey, move and let another poor sap get drilled, followed by grabbing their Bananas that they drop. Simply put, get the monkey to the proper spot before the opposition, catching the incoming fruit. Move the cursor around the screen by pointing the Remote, moving the monkey to where the Bananas will be found. Move the monkey allover the screen in an attempt to grab the falling Bananas, but watch out for the falling Bombs! The one who collects the most Bananas wins. When the numbers become overwhelming, do not worry about shooting Bananas, as it is more important to destroy the asteroids. Always be moving the cursor, looking for the next kill, as being ready will often get the offending projectiles destroyed faster. Let Bananas (gold colored on screen) reach the space station, as they will repair some of the damage caused by the asteroids. However, always try to take red asteroids out as soon as possible, as they take three hits to destroy instead of the usual one hit for regular asteroids. 
Prioritize the asteroids as they come in, though this becomes difficult as their speed increases.Simply aim the Remote to put the cursor over incoming asteroids, followed by pressing the A or B Button to blow the offending space rocks into nothingness. This is especially true of the health refill, so make great efforts to grab it if one appears.Īsteroids are hurtling at the space station, so monkey the weapons and keep the space debris away from the valuable installation. When the power-ups appear, be sure to go for them as they are rather rare and extremely useful.
If they draw too near, move away from the action and get turned around, taking on more foes as they come after the ship.
The best strategy is to try and take out the aliens from a distance, watching out for any proximity warnings (indicated by sound warnings and arrows that will solidify as targets draw near). To fire the weapons, simply press the A, B, C, or Z Button. To rise in the air, push the two controls away from one another, while pushing them close together will get the ship to descend. To turn left, pull back on the Nunchuk and push forward on the Remote, while the opposite (forward on the Nunchuk and back on the Remote) will turn the ship to the right. To control the spaceship, hold the Remote and Nunchuk on a 90 degree angle with the TV sensor (the sensor lies flat, so they point straight in the air).
